Custer, SD- Remembering what was forgotten

Love and fear, two emotions that energize 100% of our actions. What is in the energy of us all; calling us to remember who we are, one people, one world, one universe! We forgot and I feel I am beginning to get glimpses on this journey of who I always have been.

In Custer, SD surrounded by the Black Hills or as the Sioux call them, Ȟe Sápa, I feel called to remember who I have always been, who we have always been. Just as the Sioux feel the Black Hills are sacred, I too felt an undeniable energy that wove within myself and woke what was once asleep.

While at the Wind Cave National Park, I read "The Lakota Emergence Story," the story of how the Lakota people came to walk this Earth and I couldn't help but ask myself, "How did I come to walk this Earth? Why am I here?"

I can't even begin to answer it but I know I am starting to remember and what fills me with light in my heart is remembering purpose in love. My actions are truly energized from a place of love or fear.

I want to make a conscious choice to let love energize all my actions; that feels true, a place remembered.
